This product is used for the collection, pre-treatment and release of nucleic acids from SARS-CoV-2 samples.
Specimen collection: nasopharyngeal, oropharyngeal, combined naso- and oropharyngeal; oral/salivary swab, anterior nasal swab and nasal swab of the middle turbinates
Safe handling: transfer and extraction solution inactivates the virus within 5 minutes, so there is no risk of infection! Longer shelf life: 7 days at -15 to -25°C or 2 to 8°C.
